The BDC is Pontotoc Technology Center’s (PTC) Business Incubator. Incubators are ideal for starting a small business and being assured that it will grow and mature into a successful, productive and profitable venture.

Tenants in our BDC receive assistance from PTC’s Business and Industry Services Department as well as specialized help from many other entities available to counsel and advise small businesses. Our Incubator Advisory Committee is always available to assist. This group consists of professionals who have a strong interest in seeing the Incubator Tenant achieve success. Generally, the committee will include, but not be limited to the tenant’s banker and accountant, a successful previous tenant of the BDC and incubator management.

Much care is taken in screening and choosing applicants who have a very strong chance of survival, growth and economic impact. Management of the BDC will take care of many of the time consuming, non-productive things associated with starting, managing and growing your business, thus, allowing tenants to spend their time more productively.

Whatever the need of the tenant, PTC is available to help meet that need. Assistance is available to tenants who have needs in any area of operations.

Business Incubation is a very effective Economic Development Tool and is especially effective in creating jobs and boosting the economy in Rural Oklahoma. The BDC at Pontotoc has been responsible for well over 100 new, good paying jobs in manufacturing and technology in a very Rural area.
